FAQS

Asset 19_4x-8.png

How long does the program take to complete?

Most students complete the program, obtaining their BA/BS degree, within 12-18 months after returning from seminary. Factors that affect how long it may take a student to graduate include how many credits she enters the program with and how many credits she takes each semester.

What seminaries did students attend?

Our students come from a variety of seminaries including, but not limited to Bnos Avigail, Bnos Chava, Bnos Sarah, Bnos Shoshana, Bnos Yehudis, BJJ, BYA, Chemdas, Darchei Bina, Hadar, Keser Chaya, Machon Raaya, Machon Sara, Me’ohr, Michlalah, Nachlas, Neimas, Nishmas, Seminar, Tehilas, and more. Most of these seminaries participate in the WITS Israel Study Abroad Program (learn more at www.wits.edu/isap).

What is the application deadline?

WITS offers a rolling admissions policy, which means that as long as a student has time to apply, interview and enroll prior to the start of a semester, she can apply at any time. Priority will be given to applicants who apply by March 1st.

Do you require SATs?

Submitting SAT scores is optional. We use a holistic approach to evaluate applications, however, we encourage students to submit SAT scores if you believe they reflect your academic strengths. Doing so can provide additional insight into your academic profile and may enhance the strength of your application.

Do you accepts APs?

APs with a score of 4 or 5 are accepted.

Do you accept CLEPs?

Yes. WITS accepts up to 12 credits in CLEPs. Before registering for any CLEP exams, we strongly encourage you to speak with one of our academic advisors to help you understand how CLEP credits align with your intended program, ensure that the exams fit your academic goals, and maximize the value of credits towards your degree.

What is the cost of tuition?

We are proud to offer affordable tuition rates. The overall cost of the program ranges depending on how many credits a students comes to WITS with and what courses she takes when enrolled.

Is financial aid available?

At WITS, we will work with you to make education affordable. We accept federal and state financial aid awards and offer needs-based institutional scholarships, by application. Mrs. Tova Rappaport, Director of Financial Aid, is available for personalized guidance on applying for financial aid and scholarships. Contact Mrs. Tova Rappaport by emailing trappaport@wits.edu.
